Misguided morals

Hmmm, so George W. Bush thinks stem cell research “…would support the taking of innocent human life of the hope of finding medical benefits for others. It crosses a moral boundary that our society needs to respect,…”

How fascinating that he spins medical research that way while at the same time he happily promotes militaristic policies and adventures in Iraq and the Middle East that actively take innocent human life in the hope of finding some glimmer of benefit for others. But then with these people once you’ve drawn a breath they have no moral qualms about making it your last one.

Maybe if we could find out how many unborn babies have died in Iraq when their pregnant mothers were gunned down, bombed, burned or tortured they just might be able to work up a smidgen of moral outrage.
